INFORMATION & NOTES

Class Formation/Confirmation

Each class has a per student Share. Please click on your class choice to see Share amounts.  A minimum of 4 students is required to fund a class.

We evaluate enrollment on June 15, 2026 and confirm classes and teachers. Enrollment can continue as long as there is space and teachers. When the minimum is not met or the maximum is reached, we move forward by either combining or beginning another class.

As we teach individually in academic subjects, all students will receive age/level appropriate lessons and we will continue to enroll and form classes as enrollment increases.

What options are available to help with my share?

~We are a nonprofit and can offer tax-deductible donations. You can offset your share with fundraising, vehicle donations, and corporate donors.  Click on "Support For Families" Menu for details.

~We hire instructors, guides, cleaners, and assistants.  You can apply for a paid position and, if you are hired, can offset your Building Share and your Legacy Harbor share provided the minimum budget has been met.

What is unique about Learning Lighthouse?

We are unique in the DFW Metroplex.  We individually work with your child to understand and master each step of the Math and Language Path.  Students are treated with respect and kindness, and also expected to wiggle and move around, need to go outside, have a snack, and chat with each other several times each day.  We meet in a home setting, creating a true homeschool environment. Our teachers are homeschool parents and previously homeschooled students. Students make individual progress while remaining in age and developmentally appropriate groups.  Many of our students graduate early - and without stress.  Some take more time to graduate so they can pursue sports, jobs, dance, art, and other time consuming pursuits.

Our students have gone on to jobs, careers, college, internships, ministry schools, and apprenticeships.

We have graduates that have gone into film, photography, marine biology, music, ministry, teaching, engineering, art, medicine, finance, corporate management, entrepreneurship, sales, and even authors. You never know what will happen when you set your child up to succeed without the constraints of grade levels and arbitrary goal posts.

Join us to start their unique Journey today!
